Teaching & Training

Providence Hematology is a group of hematologists inspired to teach.

Our hematologists are UBC Faculty of Medicine staff, and are involved in the teaching and training of medical students, residents and fellows. Here, our trainees can find helpful documents that are part of their time with us at St. Paul’s Hospital.

Summer Student Research Program

Our involvement in clinical research provides opportunities for motivated students to work alongside our medical team in order to investigate avenues in health science. Keeping ahead of COVID-19

As you are well aware, there is a global response to the COVID-19 epidemic and recently the Canadian Government has asked all of us to stay home, work remotely whenever possible, and make every effort to keep ourselves healthy as we strive to reduce the spread of the virus. Providence Hematology is committed to the health of our staff, our patients, and our communities and as such, we will be taking the necessary steps to keep everyone safe.
